About Us
Mary's Dog Training located in Sigonella, Italy is coming from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. Established in 2010 to facilitate a variety of canine training services for the needs of dog owners in Jerez and surrounding areas. I took my dreams to Okinawa Japan, Nebraska, and now I'm bringing this passion to Sigonella.
It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, and I believe it’s never too late to train any pet. My services are designed for the pet and owner keeping your goal the priority; I believe in working as much with you as with your pet to achieve the desired results. I’m proud of my high success rate and the level of satisfaction from my clients, and their pets.
Services include: basic obedience, residential habituation (in-home pet needs), aggression issues, American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen testing and ATD (Alliance of Therapy Dog) testing and training program.

Private Training
Perfect for those with special/specific needs, or desire a one-on-one experience with a trainer.
Special needs may include potty training, chewing issues, jumping, separations anxiety, leash pulling, barking, biting, and aggression.
Private training includes a 1:30 hour private session with a trainer, at your place of residence, or desired training area. Price is $50-$60/session/area.
Basic Obedience
Basic Obedience Courses are designed to establish "a learned language" between pet and pet owner.
You and your pet will learn the Heel, Come, Sit, Down, and Stay, receive a Basic Obedience Certificate, and free American Kennel Club CGC test.

AKC CGC Program
The American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen testing qualifies pets to participate in other canine programs such as breeding, competitions, service dogs, and advance training.

Definition of a therapy dog is a dog that is trained, evaluated, and certified for the purpose of providing “therapeutic contact” to people with special needs in community areas (hospitals, retirement homes, nursing homes, schools, hospices, disaster areas, etc.) “Therapeutic contact” includes sedentary activities (petting, or “hanging out”) and physically-involved activities (playing, tricks, or obedience routines). A therapy dog is not a service dog, but may be one as well.
